Tiki Border

Surfboard Paintings

Two dimensional art on a three dimensional object, moving murals as I like to call them. I was introduced to this medium through Drew Brophy, The “master of the water based paint pen” Similar to art markers, I especially like the speed and ease of the pens, and the fact that they come in different sizes. It’s nice to be able to display your stick as art when not riding it in a session. These paintings are done on the surface of the board and then sealed, smooth to the touch and no perceptible weight change make it the perfect way to customize a new or used board and not effect the performance.
